New BMW 3-Series Coupe
本国で新型の3シリーズクーペが発表になったようです。
E36（2世代前か）のクーペ乗りといたしましては、セダンよりましだけど好みのデザインではありません。

Twin-turbo technology for 3 Series
Heralding the dawn of a new era in engine technology, BMW’s all new 3 Series Coupé range goes on sale in the UK on 23 September 2006. The third generation of compact coupé marks the introduction of the first ever twin-turbo petrol-powered engine in a production BMW as well as pioneering Direct Injection technology. Two models will be available at launch.
なんと、新世代の3L直6エンジンにツインターボで306馬力だそうです。0-100km/h(0-62mile per hour)5.5秒なんでかなり速い!FRで軽いからだろうなぁ。
なお、国内では1シリーズのホットハッチ、130iにパドル付きオートマのモデルが発表になりました。
待望の!? 「BMW 130i」にATモデル追加
ビー・エム・ダブリュー・ジャパンは、これまで6MT仕様しかラインナップされていなかった「BMW 130i M-Sport」にATモデルを追加。2006年4月24日に発売する。エンジンや内装、ボディカラーなどは、これまでのMT仕様と同じで、価格は11万円高い498.0万円。
130iのATは「スポーツAT」と呼ばれるもので、ステアリングホイールの裏側にパドルが備わる。
Audi A3 SportBack 3.2DSG対抗といったところでしょうか。走ると楽しいんだろうなぁ。
