2. what do you think about your domestic electronic music scene?

I think it is healthy because there is a lot of brilliant music out there, but the commerciality and popularity of some ares of the scene has led to an abundance of music made for profit, not out of love.

3. what do you think about european electronic music scene?

There is some amazing music coming out of europe. Recently I've been impressed by broken beat stuff from Scandinavia.

4. what do you think about north ameriacn electronic music scene?

Still quite underground compared to the UK.

5. do you know the japanese electronic music scene? and are you interested in it?

I am, but unfortunately I know much less than I would like to about it & it can be hard to find info on it in the UK.

Japanese releases are rare & extortionally expensive in the UK. One of my favourite albums last year was Calm's "Organ Language". There are some incredibly talented Japenese artists who NEED worldwide exposure.

6. what do you think about the future of electronic music environment/scene?

I hope it continues to grow. The internet has helped to integrate parts of the scene in different countries. I see this as helpful & hope it will continue.
