what do you think about your domestic electronic music scene?
there is here in paris a reasonable numbre of free curators that are organizing events & trying to dynamise the electronic music scene. but what is called electronic music?... as an organiser, i'm not focused only on laptop music, i'm looking for interresting sound researches or sensibilitys, and there are many ways to reach this... what comes after the glitch? these days i feel and noticed that more and more eclectic experiments, i mean laptops + something else are comming up here. maby we (as audiance) get tired of watching a guy behind a laptop and that's all, maby we (as performers) wants to get a deeper relation with the audiance or try differents crossing experiments.... electronic music is something inbetwin. inbetwin pop music (tekno) and sophisticated music (electro-experimental). |

what do you think about european electronic music scene?
here in paris i think we are quite lucky thanks to the many countrys that are surrounding us. thanks to this there are many differents and new artists that can come and perform in paris. i feel that now things are about to change, something new has to happen, more crossing experiments are comming and i think it's good! |

4.
what do you think about north american electronic music scene?

5.
do you know the japanese electronic music scene?
yes, a bit::: > and are you interested in it? yes i am! there are many electronic music artists in japan, and as i told before i'm interested in atypical music and japan have this particular skill to absorb and transform foreign cultures and the results are very surprizing and stimulating. @ |
6.
what do you think about future electronic music environment/scene?
maby i already answer to this... but if if i have to ad something, it'll be about the context. i think electronic music has to find new spaces to be performed. club is not i think a proper place. we have to fin atypical spaces and makes the performance feet these new spaces... i'm dreaming about outdoor in the city concerts, concerts on the roof of tokyo's buildings! @ |
