2. what do you think about your domestic electronic music scene?

electronic music has a long tradition over here in germany. i think the examples are too obvious to mention :) i live in berlin which of course has a very special reputation for electronic music, which partly is due to thee more than lively cluub scene berlin used to have and still has in parts. think of turbine, tresor, e-werk, bunker, friseur, elektro....all these places made it happen.

nowadays, what i like most about berlin is the fact that producers of electronic music and dj's are very friendly towards each other. of course there are various groups of people, but competition is not really an issue.

3. what do you think about european electronic music scene?

good in parts : )
there are good producers all over the world and of course english electronic music was a big influence. from depeche mode to plaid, from yazoo to autechre. but then again i think the first ever electronic i listened to was one by jean-michel jarre who is from france.

nowadays, you will find good and bad producers everywhere. be it in paris or warsaw.
